Oh my gosh, I didn’t even realize how much I missed this world until I started reading this book! “A Very Merry Margarita Mixup” is a sweet and steamy holiday romance featuring Shawn and Jules. I absolutely adored this book for a variety of reasons, but I especially loved the small town vibes the story gave off. Shawn is the epitome of swoony book boyfriend perfection, and I loved his gentlemanly behavior and the way he would move heaven and earth if it made Jules smile. Jules was also an amazing character because of her kind heart, genuine nature, and sweet, slightly awkward personality. I loved the two of them together, and reading this book instantly uplifted my mood. 5 freaking stars!!!

Aaah Shawn, he was just such a sweetheart!  Love him and Jules!  This was the last of Brittanee Nicole’s books on my TBR, and now I have to wait for her to release new ones😩.  I have truly loved all of her books some more than others, but if you haven’t read her books you must!!! She’s an auto buy author for me!!!

This was my first Brittanee Nicole book, but it was easy to jump into the Bristol Bay world and become familiar with all of the characters that lived within it.

Shawn Chase, while he'd been a famous baseball pitcher, was currently living in his sister’s basement and tending bar at his best friend's bar and restaurant while he was figuring out his next steps in life. This was when his friend sent him his wish reminder about mixing up his life and wouldn't you know it had more to do about his coming days than his bleak past when he'd filled out that dollar bill wish. As we quickly learn, Shawn is a man who makes bold moves and is probably the sweetest man to walk around the Bristol Bay area. While he originally thought he was making a move on his best friend, Hailey, it turns out it was actually her estranged twin sister, Jules. She's just arrived in town and looking to reunite with her family when Shawn walks up to her and kisses her and let me tell you, the sparks ignite leading them on a path to all kinds of new found discovery, but before either of them can really figure out what that means, there are a lot of obstacles that end up on their path to love.

I loved the steam and romance that brewed between Shawn and Jules throughout the entire book. It was one that brewed slowly, even after that initial kiss, but let's face it, they were literal strangers and took their time to get to know one another, but once they did...full steam ahead.

Also, with the small town atmosphere, the camaraderie between all of the cast, especially Shawn's friends was a total joy to read. Jules' family was a bit slower to warm to, just given the circumstances, but Shawn is the ever present cinnamon roll to help ease the tension and I loved him all the more for his charismatic sweetness.

A 4.5 star rating overall.

I was ok. Predictable but still enjoyable (it is not a 3 stars book, but it's good for the soul on a frozen December evening)

Where to start.. Shawn freaken Chase! We all need a hot firefighter who will give us a nickname, lay in bed next to us looking all fine in his glasses while he reads us a spicy book and thinks about what he's going to do to us later with some rope.

I absolutely ate this book up and loved every minute of it. I enjoyed the character development and the story line. Obviously love Shawn, also loved Jules & Haley. Highly recommend reading if you're looking for a new holiday read with christmas vibes, small town, found family, mistaken identity/twins, firefighter/baker and plot with spice.

Whilst I haven’t read any of the previous books in this series, I never felt as if I was struggling to keep up and/or make heads-or-tails of the large cast of characters belonging to Bristol Bay—aka this did well as a standalone. I do wish that the arsonist plot, which was more or less in the backseat throughout the story, had been wrapped up in this book. But alas, I guess I’ll have to wait for answers.

This is the first book I read on the series and my first ever Christmas romance.

Im a huge Hallmark Christmas movie girl so this book was EVERYTHING. It reads like a Hallmark movie but with spice and kink.

A sweet MMC and a sweet and weird FMC. I loved everything about this and I'm adding Shawn Chase to my book boyfriends
