So glad I found this book! It was an easy read with enough character development to be realistic and honest. Evvie and Dean have a love based on friendship and attraction while Evvie and Tim have a relationship based on convenience, expectations and comfort. I appreciate that the author explored both of those relationships and allowed Evvie to have her own realizations. While her relationship with Dean is my favorite I really enjoyed Evvie and Andy's honest and true closeness.

Meh...This book needed more plot, more character development, less dialogue. I like that the author touched on the damage that emotional abuse can do to a person, but this book needs a lot more depth and a lot more story.

3.5 stars on the second read. Still too much profanity, but I still liked it generally.

I really liked this one, which was a pleasant surprise! I think I would even read it again.
