Marriage of convenience! MMC fell in love with FMC at first sight while it takes FMC a little bit longer. MMC's protectiveness was heartwarming. He's not the possessive type, I'd say, just a dash of it plus more wholesome characteristics.

I'm taking a star off because the lore didn't make a lot of sense. It was pretty weak. The alien lord just giving away priceless land, one precious land per human? Yeah, that makes sense. No wonder the other aliens are pissed.
