I enjoyed the beginning of this book but I felt like this book had a little too much sex in it for all the things going on in the plot and story line I felt like this book could’ve weighed been combined with book 1 or could’ve been a lot shorter cuz it just felt like a lot of unnecessary sex scenes that didn’t continue the progress of the story line of this series.

Woof, this one is ROUGH and once they get through trauma and tragedy at the start it feels like a large chunk of the book was the third act break up. That's too long for that device to get. Glad it ended how it did though and excited to read about more people I've met in the rest of this series.

The cliffhanger we were left on from beloved had me running to start this book and man it took me on a crazy ride. I wish Catherine wasn’t so stubborn at times.

I was prepared to only give this book 3 stars, but the epilogue pushes it to 4.

EXCUSE ME MAM BUT YOU DID NOT HAVE TO MAKE ME THIS EMOTIONAL WHILE READING A GD BOOK. Not sure how I’ll recover from this duet, I’ll keep y’all updated.
The second book in the Salvation Series and The Belonging Duet continues the story of Jackson and Catherine. I don’t want to give the story away so let’s just say, you HAVE to read it.
The absolute emotional rollercoaster I felt while reading this book was unreal. I am not a crier during books but oh my god parts of this book had full on fat tears streaming down my face.
I absolutely adored this story and the writing was PHENOMENAL. I truly felt for these characters and even the relationships with the side characters had me in my feels.
Jackson was so incredibly swoon worthy throughout the entire book and I think Catherine’s character development was incredible. Yes, there were absolutely times when I wanted to reach through the pages and throttle both of them but I think that’s what makes this book so real and the emotions so raw.
I can’t wait to continue to read this series and see the side characters get their HEA.

You know when you start a book and you don't have the willpower to quit it even when it's kinda boring? Yeah that was me with this, the story was okay, but simple communication would have made such a huge difference.

There were times in this book that I hated Catherine. Her daddy issues and victim mentality were annoying but it ended up being a good story. I’m excited to continue the series.
