I love anything with the children and the section where they answered questions was incredibly entertaining.

Feels like the start of a second big story arc, promising violence and consequences, with the hope of HEA, much like the last one! Glad to spend more time with Snow, Bigby and the kids. I wonder if the letter answering interlude was the writer and artists taking a breath before the chaos begins anew.

I adore this series. It's premise is fantastic, with superb character development, beautiful illustrations and whip-smart writing. In short, I think it's pretty genius. This compendium felt a bit like placeholders, though, building toward something larger. It was enjoyable getting to spend some time with the Wolf clan in wedded bliss, but their messiness was always part of what made Snow and Bigby so dynamic. It will also be interesting to see where the Rose and Blue story goes, and Bill Willingham set up an intriguing new character in Hansel in this set.

It took me quite a while to finish reading this, purely because I took a long break off my massive binge reading of this series because life got hectic - not because the book wasn't interesting. This one was definitely mostly filler, but hey, if the filler stories continue revolving mostly around Bigby, Snow, and the cubs, then I am 100% for that. Their family continues to contain of my favorite characters thus far. The rest of the issue was foreshadowing a huge (I assume) battle coming up between the Adversary and Fabletown again, and I'm greatly looking forward to seeing what comes from it all as this series continues.
