I think this was a really great story that kept me reading and I really enjoyed a YA that showed more of a political and war side of things.

Really enjoyed this one! Great worldbuilding, relatable no-nonsense protagonist who puts duty and kingdom before self like any self-respecting perfectionist eldest daughter would. Delicious bodyguard romance (no “spice”, just some kissing, but perfect level for YA).
I did figure out the “big twist” at about 60%, but it was very well disguised and I might have missed it if I hadn’t already been suspicious.
