I read this book after listening to Stinson speak on Sunday Night Safran in 2010. I was immediately drawn the description of his book and the way he articulated his experiences in a country waging a war on terror. Known Unknowns isn't a close examination of the events of 9/11 but rather a collection of experiences illustrating the looming feeling of disquiet that filled New York in the months following. I really enjoy revisiting this book from time to time.
