I feel like each Super Hero High novel Lisa Yee writes gets better than the last. For now, this one is my favorite, and yes, part of it is because Batgirl is my favorite super hero. Can't wait for her next one, Katana!

4.5 stars. Loved this entry in the series. I'm becoming a big Batgirl fan. I love that her intellect is her power!

If you have read the other Super Hero High books you will love this one also! It is a quick read. Great for young and old superhero fans!

I read this out loud to my daughter and it was a straight up poor read aloud experience. It’s just clunky, and I felt like it needed better editing. The story itself also left something to be desired. But my 9 year old enjoyed it, and I can see the way these books open doors to the wider world of super hero stories, so I appreciate that about it.

The publisher actually sent me the audio book for this one. I didn't realize that when I accepted it, so it was totally different from what I was used to. It was fun though. I had it playing in the kitchen anytime I was cleaning or cooking and within a few minutes of starting it my 11 year old son would wonder in pretending to get food or want to talk to me. Only, his talking was silent because he was listening to the story. I finally told him, "You may stay and listen." He smiled and sat on the bar and listened. After that, anytime it was on I found him sitting at the bar. I loved it. Needless to say, he and I were both big fans. I loved that they brought in so many super heroes into a unique story. I mean, really, how many more super hero stories can they make? Well, apparently, a lot! LOL! My son and I were both absorbed into this story from the first moment it started playing. There were arguments on if we should continue playing it through dinner or not. Yes, it was that good. The writing was great, the voice actor did fabulous, and the story line was fun and moved perfectly for a middle school level book.
