I have up to the fourth volume checked out from the library so I will continue at least up until that point but I sadly didn’t care much for the story and some of the art confused me in parts.

I didn’t enjoy this book too much. I felt like I couldn’t get connected to the characters and that was making it tough

I picked up this manga because I liked the cover. The colors are pretty. The story is okay. I'm not loving it, but I have volumes 2 -4 (thanks library!) I'll keep reading to see if I grow to like/love it.

Much better than I expected. The premise is interesting and not a rip-off of the original like Wizard's Blue is. The art is really nice, very different.

I loved how Jack is drawn! She’s portrayed as a tough, stylish, independent lady. Which was interesting because when I read this story in The ancient Magus Bride: The golden Yarn, that’s not how I pictured her. The golden yarn book is made up of short stories and the last one in the book is the written story version of this manga book. It was quite funny seeing how the author drew the scenes and how they were very different to what I imagined reading the book. Overall because I knew the story as I was reading it, that took some of the surprise out, so I’ll give it a 4/5. That being said I’m still going to order the next one! Haha!
