Clever plot, good characters. I rolled my eyes only once and then hastily unrolled them in the end appreciating the wordplay fun being had.

Audible free, nicely done mystery, seems like quite a bit of chattiness throughout - another author might have made the book shorter by cutting out the dialogue. Kept me guessing until the end, although this might be due to lack of full information. Good book nevertheless.

Entertaining as always, but not quite as good as the previous three. Felt like there were still some loose ends left unaddressed. I mostly read these for the setting, though (love Edinburgh). Overall, the book went pretty fast, and I’d recommend it if you enjoy police detective stories and Scotland.

Character developing nicely.
Re-listening an interesting exercise.
Enjoyable but superseded by later books.
