These books are a lot of fun! I liked the message given towards the end of the book to change the way you think about something if you can't change the thing itself, but it was relayed in a convoluted way. I don't know if kids would be able to figure it out on their own. Maybe I'm not giving them enough credit. I did like that the message was included; it's a valuable lesson to learn!

Good, funny, well illustrated, a bit long for the targeted reader, and with a strong, positive and great morale about letting go and accepting others and the world as it is for your own good! Well done!

This is a great book for those early readers as its artwork is adorable, the writing and story are simple to follow and it’s captivating. Rabbit is having a hard time with his emotions and being angry. Though with help from his friend bear, he changes his mindset from negative to positive.

It was cute, hilarious and inspiring. This would be a great book to read together with younger kids and talk about the concept of perspective, positivity and thinking things through before reacting.

Thank you to NetGalley and Printers Row Publishing Group for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I think with the first book done, Gough is absolutely in his stride with this one. Whilst I found Rabbit's Bad Habits fun, I felt that it didn't have the same balance of humour, wit and character that I was expecting but this one is a cracker! My four-year old wanted this read in one sitting and thought that Rabbit was hilarious. I really liked the fact that, without shoving it down your throat, rabbit's realisation of the fact that the world might be terrible because of his own attitudes rather than those he's surrounded with was wonderful and Bear is there is guide him. It's not quite Winnie-the-Pooh but, equally, it is many respects a Pooh of our times. Can't wait for the next one.
