Where Give the Dark My Love is a dark academia fantasy, Bid My Soul Farewell is a dark fantasy. Its a great look into the struggles of loss, grief, anger, colonization, political division and classism. I love that Grey doesn’t try to change Nedra, and understands that you can love someone and still not support everything they set out to accomplish.
