Selvom der er mange fine/sjove betragtninger og dialoger (hvor folk taler forbi hinanden), så virker bogen og hovedpersonen ikke på mig.

Og så er den også alt for arty til min smag. Jeg sprang alle monologerne over feks. Og mod slutningen blev det for abstrakt/kedeligt.

At first, the writing style including big blocks of texts without breaks, and no quotation marks between conversations took a moment to get into. Once I got used to it, I thought it was beautiful to be written this way! It feels like you're truly reading her inner thoughts which fits this story perfectly, especially the inner monologue sections.

Something I wasn't personally into was Mulle's grandmother's random bursts of hate? I don't know if this was meant to be seen as humorous but it just felt very unnecessary to the story. It didn't seem to add anything to the plot or regular characters.

But still, a beautiful book in terms of the way it's written and I've never seen such a touching way of describing others and experiences.

Hat mich leider ziemlich unberührt zurückgelassen. Obwohl ich die Hauptfigur interessant finde, fehlt es der ganzen Geschichte an Substanz. Alle Figuren verbleiben seltsam flach und sprachlich ist es auch eher schlicht. Alles in allem eher vergessenswert.
