As per usual, Little’s writing does not fail to impress. Book one was so so good but admittedly, I had no idea where he could go from there but Little doesn’t disappoint as he takes his characters and a world that is falling into chaos and sends them in a twisty and unexpected direction. This book is quick paced and will draw you in easily. The characters are endearing in their own ways and the world is just fabulously horrifying. I found myself glued to my kindle screen saying “maybe just one more chapter for now” until to my bewilderment, I was all out of them. This series takes the dystopian sci-fi genre and gives it enough unique and unexpected twists that it truly feels like something new and noteworthy. Go grab your copy of both this and The Last Human today!!
