Really weird and boring Natasha and standard, boring art&story line. Sucks when I've been waiting to see Black Widow and Storm together for a good time.

A collection of one-shot stories where Black Widow teams up with another female hero and their boobs create their own gravitational fields. It's impressive when the outright sexism in the decades-old Stan Lee comic snapshot is easier to stomach than the way these poor characters are twisted into bizarre sexual positions in most of the rest of the book. There's even a panel where Natasha is peering over a wall and, instead of just crouching like a normal human, she's in this odd face down/ass up situation. There's another one where she's 'out of shot' except for her boobs poking perkily into the frame. Add that to lacklustre stories where the other girls (sigh) barely have anything to do, and it's a no from me.

PS: the team up with Storm at the end gets a pass and a thumbs up because they are drawn like people instead of boobs with legs, and the Moleman/moloids plot was just the right balance of weird, fun and creepy.

I liked this volume well enough, but I feel like it lacked the character development and intriguing plot that the characters deserved. I would not hesitate to read more volumes featuring an all-female cast, but I hope they are better than this so-so book.

I really liked the way Natasha was written in this book - her quips made me laugh out loud a few times, and I like when her attitude is well-written like that. The story-lines weren't my favorite, nor was the art, but I thought the writing of the characters made up for that. The Ms. Marvel story was definitely my favorite. I also enjoyed the bonus vintage Spider-Man/Black Widow comic at the end!

Meh.

There's really no reason for these stories. They seem like filler for something.

I mainly got this volume because it was on sale and who am I to resist a good bargain?

The stories in the issues were okay but the art in the first two was too much "busty, thin-waisted babes" for me, not enough focus on the action, too much on Natasha's "assets". The other two issues were much better in that regard which I was glad for.

The bonus volume was from The Amazing Spider-Man and had me nearly chocking on the sexism and Natasha constantly being referred to as a "female" was grating.

Huh. Art was... Pretty awful (sexist & just... Not... Good) & the characters were pretty weak, considering their powers. The premise works- the idea behind each story is good- just... Not executed this way.
