The second hand embarrassment I experienced especially in the first half made me want to skip ahead. But I definitely recommend the book, I thought it had cool characters, beautiful writing and descriptions, and an incredible plot. Favorite character was obviously Daisy, thought that Rosie was a bit overrated (until the end) and enjoyed all of the old ladies. I liked both Fat Charlie and Spider and how they complimented each other.

Although I did enjoy the book and it was well written it simply didn't grab me. I much prefer Gaimans comics to his novels but that's just personal preference.

Loved this audiobook, and it made me quite emotional. I grew up with Tío Conejo stories, and of course the clever rabbit is just a permutation of Anansi. It's a good book with quite a love of stories, and a love for parents and offspring. This idea that stories live on, it always gets me. The narrator is absolutely fantastic.
