The Adjustment by Suzanne Young was an emotional rollercoaster in all the best ways. While I didn’t find the characters as lovable as some of the other books in this series, I liked the way the world is slowly coming together to weave the three different story lines into one another. I feel like the stakes of this story line were not as prevalent as the first two, but as the story progressed, the details became more and more clear, giving this portion some of the highest stakes in the series (which makes sense going into the finale). I’m really excited to see where Young takes the last Program novel, and I can’t wait to see how Tate’s story joins up with those of Sloane and Quinn (outside of what we have already seen). If you’re looking for a longer YA Sci-Fi read, I would definitely recommend this series.
