A seemingly linear collection of poems capturing, collecting, and examining the diasporic nature of identity of an islander unmoored on mainland America. Told in two parts.

I don't think I can put into words how deeply affecting I have found this collection. Possibly my favourite thing I've read this year, and by far my favourite collection of poetry (this year, this decade, maybe ever). I'm torn between wanting to devour every word, and wanting to slowly savour over time - somehow I've settled for both.
