I want to love Dickinson so badly and there's no doubt of her talent. However, I have a hard time understanding her ideas more than any other. I think her poems are just not my type of poetry. I tried so hard and I am actually dnf now because I get really frustrated :(

I really liked this book. I found a lot of the poems very depressing and I felt a bit sad after reading some of them. Dickinson really gets the emotions across though. She had some cute lighthearted poems about butterflies and bees and stuff too. I liked those. Also the ones about love were really beautiful.
