If you read only one book about cats who pop out of peoples breasts this year, make it Garvan Giltinan's TITTY KITTIES.
That's really all there is to it. It's a story about companionship. A story about finding love again. And a story about four cats who pop outta titties and kick some major ass.
At times, the story seems to meander as it tries to find its narrative. The ending ramps up the action but also wanders where the action could have been tighter, sharper.
This is the kind of story that is one thing and then becomes another. The enjoyment is in the ride, don't linger on the specifics. I hoped for a "reason" or "explanation" but never got one. I'll try to find a way to move past this.
