I love epistolary books but I have never not rooted for a person like I did in this one.

I didn't like the main character at all. Didn't like the list format. Overall, just extremely annoyed by the main character the entire book.

I never thought I could read an entire novel and be invested in characters when the whole book was written in a list format!
1. This was unique and genius
2. Why hadn’t I heard of this book before
3. It was a tad repetitive at times
4. I now feel guilty about always leaving my laundry in hampers

I found the format interesting. I also find it interesting that I could enjoy a book written entirely as lists, but have a hard time enjoying books of poetry, even "non-rhyming" poems. Must be my list addiction at work here.

It also took me a bit too long too catch on what was happening on the Bad Ideas Lists.

Verrrrrrrry slow burn for me. The last 50 pages were the most captivating and I adored how things were wrapped up in the end but the journey getting there was certainly a slow one. The style of the book however, written in lists, I really loved.

I LOVED this book. It is written in "list" form and it is fantastic. I, too, like so many other reviewers, was able to read this in one sitting. There are several "laugh out loud" moments!

Many thanks to Netgalley and St Martin's Press for this advanced readers copy. The release date for this book is set for November 2019.
