A group of diverse children come together and embrace one another for their differences and similarities.

A very gentle (and sweet) read about children making their way through the world. The rhyming text lends itself well to a storytime about kindness or friendship.

Although the illustrations were gorgeous, I wasn't exactly keen on the story line.

Everyday diversity. Very esoteric, maybe not the best for storytime

This book makes me want to hit people with it while yelling loudly, "don't be a dick."

I'm not sure that's what the author or illustrator had in mind. But it's so simple: we all have to live here on this planet, how hard is it to not be a total asshat to the people and creatures around you?

The text is all true, the illustrations are gorgeous, don't treat others like garbage.
