This review was originally posted on Star Crossed Reviews I received this book for free from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.Thank you to Bookouture for accepting my request via Netgalley. I’ve read a few of Jenny’s books in the past and I just love her writing style.

This book follows Carrie as she takes her last nanny job, looking after the Fletcher children before growing up. Carrie has spent her younger years looking after other peoples children. All her school friends are married and have children of their own but Carrie doesn’t have any spare time.

As soon as Carrie arrives at the Fletcher house it’s clear that a lot of changes are needed. The children barely even interact with their father and what’s worse is that they have accepted it. Carrie faces much opposition from Adam who is busy running his company and doesn’t have the time to spare to get involved with the children.

Adam is not a mean or horrible man he just struggles to juggle his life. His company is in the middle of an expansion and he doesn’t trust anyone else to do it right so he is overseeing everything.

What I loved about this story is the way both Adam and Carrie change throughout the time that she is working for him.

This book is a heartfelt christmas read that will leave you with a case of the warm fuzzies. This is perfect for those long winter nights by the fire.

I don't generally read books that are classic romance, but I bought this one on a whim and I found it very entertaining. It has inspired me to read more Christmas romances.

I had high hopes for this book after reading the blurb. Unfortunately, my expectations weren't really met.
The premise of the story was really great and I see a lot of potential in the story. Sadly there was just too much nonsense within the story that kept me from staying interested. It seemed like the same things kept happening over and over again and always ended the same way...without any type of resolution. It read very much like a soap opera to me, where drama builds and builds and then just when you think things will come to a head, it just sort of fizzled away. Then it all just starts all over again.
Honestly, I found myself skimming through a lot of the pages because the story didn't hold my interest. I was invested in reading about how it all turned out but not really invested in the journey.
The ending was my favorite part of the book, not just because it was over but I truly did enjoy the way it panned out.

* I received an ARC from the author/publisher in exchange for an honest review.

“Support one another and spend time together, because at the end, that’s all you’ll have to take with you—the love. Love each other and everything else will fall into place.” -Jenny Hale, All I Want for Christmas

It’s the season for cozy holiday stories and I am loving them so much! I just finished

I absolutely loved this story for the obvious reason that I am a nanny, like the main character in the story.

However I have never had a boss quite like the father in this story, thankfully as I believe I would struggle to get through the xmas period with a boss quite like him!

This was a quick read, perfect to put you in the holiday mood. There really are no twists and turns in stories like these, but somehow this time of the year such novels seems fitting. It's a sweet story with a super quick timeline that makes it easy to get wrapped up in for a few hours.
