I'm embarrassed to say it took me around a year to read the free copy I received from the author. However, this was one of the best books I've read in a long time. Sela and the secondary characters are all likable and there was enough drama to keep things interesting without being over the top. Hoping there will be a followup to this book!

This is the story of a woman who learns that she is a witch. Her familiar finds her and informs her of the impending transition to a witch. They begin to grow a network, but also learn that there are some issues that are coming up due to her past. They have to work together to figure our how to solve them.
Now, I don't expect this book to win many awards, but I thought it was lovely. I had so much fun with these characters and the story made me root for them. It seems as though it might be setup for a sequel and I would love to read that book. I also want to note that I have received a lot of ARC copies of books in my time and I don't think I have ever received a handwritten thank you note and postcards with the book. That coupled with the great book makes me want to support this author in the future.

This book is absolutely phenomenal! The characters are so rich and well layered that each new character introduction becomes a favorite character. The storyline is so creative and well thought out. Sela and Sable have easily stolen my heart. This will be my favorite book for some time.

Couldn't put this book down!
This book was fantastic and so much fun. I thoroughly enjoyed the characters and the characterization. I'm definitely going to recommend this book to others. This is definitely great storytelling. This was a very special witch story to me and I'm so happy that I came across it. I thought the pacing was just right and it was incredibly entertaining. Everyone should read this!
