Before I start my annual PJO summer reread, I decided to visit this (sort of) reference book. These are the classic myths of the Greek gods as told by Percy Jackson. His hilarious and sarcastic storytelling really made the stories come alive! I just absolutely love that Rick chose Percy as the narrator. Although, the best part about this book is the exquisite drawings by John Rocco. I cannot give this man enough praise for his artistry– absolutely incredible. If you’re looking for an entertaining read to brush up on your Greek mythology knowledge, this book is for you!

I read this with my kids. It was pretty funny. We laughed hard at several scenes and cheeky turns of phrase. And I have to admit, I sort of loved getting the run-down on all the major players in the Greek pantheon becasue I've been enjoying so much Madeline Miller lately.

A brilliant companion to the Percy Jackson series narrated by Percy himself. With a mix of beautiful artwork and a sarcastic narrative, this book explores myths and stories of each of the Olympians as they are written by Riordan. A must-read for any fans of the series or Greek mythology.
