Again...another good book with MacKayla Lane as our main character. That girl is really becoming something. She has courage and smarts...she is learning.
The story of the Faes and the search for Sinsar Dubh continues to be shrouded in a feel of a mystery. I am so liking this story. I am liking that I have a feeling of "whoa...wait a minute...how did that happen?" Once I figure it out, I get it...it makes sense. I thoroughly like the first person point of view of Mac. I also liked reading Mac's journal entries. The journal is helping to give me insights into Mac's mind - her thinking. I like that.

Keep it coming!
Can't get enough of the story!
I can not stop until I know how the series ends.

Finally I got to read this book! I had to wait on it for awhile and then I just couldn't force myself into reading it. I was a bit annoyed with Mac in the first book and I have to say Barrons was a huge petunia...you have to read the books to understand that reference. Anyway with the two main characters fighting each other over everything and Mac wanting to be a modern day hippie spoiled brat, it was a hard book to fall in love with, however this one was MUCH better. Mac is turning into more of a BA and less of a wuss. Barrons is still pretty much a jack-petunia fighting his attraction, but I can see hope for the rest of the series We got to meet Christian and Dani, two characters I've heard a ton about after Iced came out. We get passing mention of Cian, and Christian's uncles (Drustan and Deagus)who doesn't love to hear of those highlanders? Plus V'lane, who I haven't quite decided if he is good or bad, but oh my!!! He is one hot Fae! He reminds me a bit of Adam Black...Sigh. So yes, I am liking this series!

Mackayla does some growing up and her family comes clean about her being adopted. She also meets the other sidhe-seer in ireland, but too bad, they are only wanting to use her. Her and Barrons alos start getting a little bit closer. I love a relationship coming on and a mysterious young man, Christian McKeltar (i wonder if he is any relation to Daegus and Drustan from the other books) appears too and he knew Alina, Mac's Sister. Things get getting interesting for Mac and I can't wait to read the next book.
