one of my greatest accomplishments to date, was when my poetry teacher told me a poem i wrote reminded him of Shel Silverstein. i am no less flattered at 32, than i was at 24. Shel Silverstein is a genius.

I loved Shel Silverstein growing up! This one isn’t my favorite of his collections, but it still has some great ones. It made me feel inspired to get more creative with my writing prompts for my students

As with all of Shel Silverstein's works Falling Up is a great collection of short tales and poetry.
