Chasing The Falconers by Gordon Korman

I was hoping for more from Gordon Korman, but I can't complain too much. This story isn't meant to be anything deep, but instead an adventure of two kids on the run. It delivers that, but not much more. I think I probably would have enjoyed this as a kid, but as an adult reading it the novel fell a bit flat. I will continue the series though because they are quick reads and I do want to know what happens.

This book captivated my 8 and 10 year olds, as well as their parents! Would recommend to anyone!

5/5 for elementary school Katricia, 2/5 for rereading as an adult, +1 for nostalgia

Alongside my commitment for re-reading books I never completed in my childhood, I'm glad on of my first accomplishments is On The Run. This series is wonderful to follow along with even as an adult. If you can shove aside overly coincidental plot and allow the story to 'just be' as it is, you'll love the adventure and imagery you're brought along. I can't wait for the second book of this series!

Two kids run away from a prion farm they are kept on, because there parents are supposedly terrorists. The kids run away trying to prove their parent's innocence. They slowly start to become criminals as they are forced to steal, and deceive people just to say alive and free.

Genuinely, the only thing I remember about this book is Scholastic's flashgame on its website.
