This book is beautiful! It's so different from the others in this series and yet so similar. And I love every piece of it.

With Old Fashioned, Kandi Steiner again proved her ability to create easy to love and adorable characters. You really feel them and for them. You want to hug them, kiss them, hold them and carry them through the storm. But they are more than capable to fight the storm on their own, together.

Even though I loved every piece of it, I had some minor issues here and there with some facts I question. But I guess that's just me who tries to look too hard behind the curtain. ;-)

Nevertheless, I can truthfully say that Old Fashioned is a great conclusion to the Becker Brothers series and I'm kind of sad that we have to leave these gorgeous brothers and their amazing women here.

The final Becker Brother is finally here and while Jordan has always been the quietest and stoic brother of the four, he is also the best one to finish out the series.

Jordan Becker is a man of few words, but everyone knows that when he does offer them up you listen. As a high school football coach who has won the last two championship seasons, there is a lot of pressure on him to bring home the title again. It's always a challenge with students graduating and new students coming on the team, but as a coach that is his job, but his greatest challenge this year will be working with the distraction of Sydney Clark, the new female athletic trainer. It's hard enough wrangling hormonal teenage boys around the beautiful woman, but when he finds himself thinking about her nonstop, he knows she is more than just a distraction, she is someone he wants to know better. He has always been a man of few words, but around Sydney he finds himself opening up like he never has. He wants more with her than he has with anyone else, but the only problem is she wants to keep them a secret.

Sydney Clark is fresh from a nasty divorce and working as an athletic trainer has always been her dream. When things with Jordan get heated, working with Jordan Becker becomes complicated. He isn't exactly her boss, but he is her superior and not to mention she's a woman working in a male dominated field, the last thing she wants is to have rumors flying around that she doesn't deserve her job. As much as she would love to date Jordan in public, there are so many factors for keeping their relationship private. Unfortunately the longer it goes the harder it becomes to actually come clean. Can they really have a future if all they can ever do is hide?

Old Fashioned is a slow burn romance, with lots of good Becker family moments entwined, and the big family mystery finally solved. While this can be read as a standalone, you would probably enjoy Old Fashioned if you've read some or all of the other books, but it is not required.

Wonderful Tonight and perfectly Old Fashioned

The eldest Becker is Old Fashioned and 100% akeeper. As you know by now, these "boys" are family men. Well, they are men and they believe in their family. They have all fallen for a woman whose strength, stubbornness, and feistiness is their equal their own except for Jordan. Poor Jordan is the lone man left standing...until he's standing in his office facing the most beautiful woman he has ever seen;who now works for him.

Jordan is about to experience a new first. In all honesty, a lot of new firsts and every one is worth it. This book (and series) is a wonderful love story. A love for family. A love for one's parents and their relationship. A love for siblings and their new partners. A romantic love (or 4). The Beckers are every bit of awesomeness, sexiness, and fun. They are a family worth adopting, embracing, and enjoying. From their matriarch all the way to the hangers-on, the Becker clan is exactly where you want to be for family dinner and especially on Thanksgiving.

A heartfelt story with a lot of character development. A great relationship and chemistry between the heroine and the hero. The novel also makes a good attempt to address the racial inequality that exists in the town, but I think that could have been explored a little more. The plot is a little bit predictable, which is the reason why this isn't a five-star read for me. But fans of the series are going to love how Kandi Steiner wraps it up.

Easily the best book in this series. I skipped Manhattan if I’m being honest because of the reviews but it doesn’t seem like I missed out on anything. Jordan and Sydney had me in my emotions and they were so well written. Big fan!

I enjoyed this story, but I'm sad to see this series come to an end. I've loved the Becker brothers and their stories, and I was so happy to finally see them all get some closure. Jordan and Sydney were good together, and I thought they had great chemistry. There were some things that they had to overcome to be together, and I got annoyed at Sydney along the way. She did run when things got tough with Jordan, but when things came to a head, she was ready to stand and fight with him. Paige was great and I thought she added a lot to the story. I loved getting all the updates on the other brothers, but my favorite thing about this book was FINALLY seeing justice be served for their father. It was satisfying as a reader to have it work out the way you want it to. The ending was super sweet, I just wish there were more Becker brothers =)
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced readers copy of this book.

this was a good wrap up to the series! i really liked it, but michael supremacy lives on. i wish the mystery aspect was a bit more prevalent throughout the series and not just in this one, but it was still very interesting and pretty satisfying.
