The family upstairs have taken over. They are like mold growing in the walls, spreading spores at every turn, infesting everyone and everything until there is nothing left but darkness. Oh but Henry is a cleaver boy, yes a very cleaver boy indeed. Survival is an instinct that every living soul has and when forced they will do whatever is needed to make sure they survive.
Despite how disturbing the family dynamics were in this book this was a extremely fun read.

While this book wasn’t as good as some of her others, I still was engaged in the book and wanting to know the outcome. It is definitely worth reading and I would recommend it to others.

Read this quickly and enjoyed the twists in turns. Wasn’t in love with the long sentence structure. Would recommend for anyone that wants a quick, intriguing read

Good pacing, holds your attention, and has just the right timing for twists you can only sometimes predict. Over all, it was a good read!
