This was fun and different from what I’ve been reading. I just wish we got to see a little bit more romance.

Jack and Kyra, the lead characters, dated on and off in high school, but they haven’t been together in years. When Jack saves Kyra from an overamorous date, they end up on bed together, enjoying kink because they were too impaired to think about it. The next morning leaves amazed that the other is into kink and realising that maybe they struggled before because they didn’t know how to express themselves well…
This short story is dual POV, well written, and steamy. I enjoyed the genuineness of the character interactions and the relationship development. I appreciated the involvement of secondary characters and am looking forward to the rest of the series.

Kyra was my first, and now she would be my last.
5 stars excellent from start to finish. The storyline and plot for Jack & Kyra held your attention from start to finish, with plenty of steam & kink. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes a good, spicy, second chance romance.
