Binti is the first book in the Binti series. This book follows Binti, a 16 year old girl, from a tribe called Himba. The Himba are very connected to the land they live on and seldom live their village. Binti has been accepted into a University on another planet. As the story begins she has decided to leave for University, going against the norms of her people. She boards the spaceship and begins to deal with the people and aliens she is traveling with.
I really enjoyed this book. Binti is a strong and well developed character. The author provides enough world building for the story but leaves more to be explained in the following books. The other humans and aliens are described from Binti's view so you learn about them as she does.
The book can stand by itself and I found the ending very satisfying. I am looking forward to the next book in the series called home.
Recommend this book.

Me ha gustado mucho pero NECESITO MÁS INFORMACIÓN. Este libro tiene una pasada de mundo y una pasada de conceptos, pero no se profundiza mucho en ellos y tengo preguntas. Quiero más.
