I always enjoy reading about someone else’s life. I never knew how much personal family struggles she went through and it was interesting to read about. I felt it was a little repetitive about how all the moving around affected her children. I wish she had talked more about experiences in making her films. Many of the stories told about Mary Poppins and Sound of Music I’d already read about in other memoirs or heard in a documentary. Also, her stories about Carol Burnett are already talked about in her own memoir. It can’t be easy fitting all of her achievements into 300 pages and overall it was a good book.
