An Internet classic!!! I remember reading most of these in the golden internet age. It’s glib and weird and philosophical and dumb and silly.

I see a lot of comics nowadays that are basically just text, the images are barely different in the panels. Here the animation is much more expressive and the “story” or joke doesn’t overly rely on words. I mean, it’s a comic!

Some of the comics haven't aged that well but most continue to be darkly funny.

Un montón de viñetas con de un humor que en ocasiones es demasiado negro para mí, pero que es siempre muy, muy ingenioso. Gran lectura.

Algunos ejemplos de a lo que me refiero:

It feels so right and so wrong revisiting good ol' PBF. I didn't recall the use of Bukowski's face in the "Gamblin' Man" strip...that was pretty great. The Lost Strip chapter at the end is fabulous and ridiculous.

Love, love, love PBF. His comics are brilliant and funny and often a little sad and poignant, and the drawings are so interesting and detailed and colorful. Absolutely gorgeous and a must-read. I wish he still had the web comic, because Nicholas Gurewitch is a freaking amazing genius.

I can't think of a valid reason not to give this 5 stars. I enjoyed every page and laughed aloud at every other one. What other praise is there for a comic collection?
