Same as first book with all the back and forth! But slowly starting to see some better communication (and I mean slooowwwly) I know they have a very toxic relationship but I feel like a lot of their fights are due to lack of communication. Like why not just call or text instead of wondering what the other one is doing?? Or just tell the other one im leaving to do XYZ instead of just being mysterious about it. But I guess if they did that there wouldn't be so much back and forth.
I did like the idea of them restarting with dating properly. But I also feel like they rushed it like usual. And again lack of communication.

After We Collided is the second book in the After series by Anna Todd.

Truth is, I wasn’t planning on reading this book but the first one ended in a major fucked up cliffhanger and I had no choice. I needed to know what the hell was going on.

The first 200 pages of the book were amazing! I won’t spoil. The story was very interesting and intriguing, a bit heartbreaking and I was an emotional wreck.

So, after those 200 pages the story went to shit. It basically followed the formula of problem, problem, fight, fgiht, sex, sex, sex, sex, make up, fight, problem, sex, sex, make up. Yes for the rest of 400 pages this is what was going on.

There was 0 character development after the first 200 pages, the same problems in a different context kept surfacing and I started seeing this whole story as the glorification of abusive relationships. It is awful but then once again I couldn’t stop reading?

I don’t know whats wrong with these books? I keep reading bad reviews from people on goodreads that literally hate the whole thing but can’t stop reading either? Are we all so fucked up that we secretly enjoy reading about sociopath boyfriends and their victims?

I don’t know if I should recommend this book to be honest as it is basically a repetition of the same old thing. It also ends with a cliffhanger.

Another thing that I forgot to mention about the first book that it is also true for this one, is the plethora of grammatical, punctuation and spelling mistakes. If I would be reading this for free on wattpad I wouldn;t mind but since I payed for it, Im expecting more than just copying pasting without any proofreading or editing.

Kept reading after book 1 (which I highly do not recommend) only to see what the sequel to the movie I liked will be like. Unless they fix parts of the book again, will not be watching the second movie. This series is abusive garbage and I cannot believe how many people like and/or promote this series.
