Love the corsair storyline and the way you you see some of the overarching Doctor characters traits

Went into this expecting nothing and the comic came through with a delightful story!
The 13th Doctor and her companions are on a fast-paced and simple adventure that provides all the Doctor Who vibes. This could easily be an episode of the show -- a good one, even! The dialogue is snappy, the characters have some great moments, both heroically and those quiet, emotional beats that always bring Doctor Who down to earth.
The story sees them run into an old friend, and ties into an old Matt Smith episode -- an aspect I really enjoyed. I wasn't in love with the art style, particularly the awkward likenesses of the characters. But the pastel colour palette and pretty backgrounds were nice.
I'll be looking out for more of this series in the future!
