Recommended for those wishing to study Lovecraft's life in depth. Chapters such as those on genealogy and the politics of the amateur journalism organisations might be too much for the casual fan. The chapters on Lovecraft's literary executor, R.H. Barlow, help shed light on a very interesting character in his own right, and make this book a must.
