Jack playboy cowboy learns to ove someone. Finally ! I enjoyed this chapter in the Travis family saga. It is romantic and filled with heartwarming and heartbreaking moments. I did not connect to Ella as I have the other female characters in the previous books, she just didn't fit for me.
This was my least favorite out of the series. I hope there will be a Joe story soon.

Jack was too dominant for me, the heroine's sister was infuriating, as was the heroine's mother, and the heroine's boyfriend was just odd. (SPOILERS)
I found it really unbelievable that he told the heroine that they'd actually been in an open relationship this whole time, and, even though she didn't know that, she just goes along with it? WHAT?!?! Shouldn't she have at least questioned this? I felt, overall, that she needed more backbone. She stuck to her convictions as far as Luke was concerned, but wasn't very firm with her boyfriend, her family, or Jack. Ugh!

Ella and Jack were cute together I just couldn't care less about her sister storyline.

These people did not feel realistic, not even the main character.
