Somehow I manage to read all of these books in two days. This review is not gonna be that long because I’m tired and I honestly don’t have much to say.

So I’m already halfway through the Power of three series, which is kinda crazy. So the first half of the book we’re kinda just doing normal clan things, and I honestly don’t remember what happened. But to be honest I they could make a book only about the every day life of the clans without a plot and I would still read it so yeah. And then later on in the book we return to the Tribe of rushing water. If im gonna be completely I don’t really care about the Tribe I mean I don’t dislike them or anything and I thought it was cool in The new prophecy, but I don’t really see the reason for us to return, since they didn’t even solve the problem there. It kinda felt like the authors only did it because they needed the three to go on a journey to the mountains. However I still very much enjoyed the book, like I said the first half of the book was just kinda normal clan stuff but that’s almost my favorite part of the books. I also really enjoyed seeing the original cats from The new prophecy go on the journey again. And seeing Purdy again!

And of course our three main characters Hollypaw, Lionpaw and Jaypaw. I really really like these characters and I can’t wait to see how they are going to grow, especially when they become warriors/medicine cat. Something I like about this series though, as well as the last one, is that even though Prophecies begin is my favorite of the series Firestar and Graystripe become warriors at the end of the first book, unlike in this book we’re at the end of the third and they are still apprentices, and since there are apprentices that are even older than them I will guess it will at least be another book before they will get their proper name. I think it’s important that we get to see them evolve and grow as characters while they’re still apprentices and learning. I feel like they have already come a long way. Also one of the new characters I really liked is Breezepaw, I also liked him in the previous one, but since he’s on the journey with the rest of them we get too see him a bit more. I feel really sorry for him, both because he must have felt lonely on the journey because the other apprentice are siblings and really close and are not exactly a fan of him. I did like the scene were Hollypaw and Breezepaw train the tribe to-bes together. Also when thinking about the fact that he’s their half brother. (But of course none of them know that yet.) But I also really feel bad for him because of his father Crowfeather. It’s described many times in the book the the three siblings doesn’t even think that Crowfeather likes his son and that they don’t get along. (Also I snorted when I read the part when one of the siblings (don’t remember who) were like “I’m happy Crowfeather isn’t my father.” Like the irony.) Because I loved Crowfeather in The new prophecy but now he seems to be grumpy and mad all the time. And I’m kinda mad at him for not appreciating his son enough, but he also lost the love of his life TWICE (or like it’s two different cats but one died, and then he fell in love with a medicine cat from a different clan, so yeah) But I also thinks it has something to do with his new mate Nightcloud who he obviously doesn’t love at least not enough. I think he might be afraid to love again, which is kinda sad.

Anyways I can wait to see what gonna happen in the next half of the series. I’m really exited for the reveal that Leafpool is the Hollypaw, Lionpaw and Jaypaws mother and Crowfeather their father. Also to learn more about the power of the three prophecy.

Maybe my least favorite Warriors book so far, unfortunately. This plotline is a little uncomfortable to me. Like, it almost feels like a colonizer thing? The Warriors seem respectful of the Tribe's culture, but doesn't find any compromise to their problem. Also, the trio didn't do much this book, so I missed their character development.
