Nice but wasn't such interesting like the previous one, I felt that were tied up in only two or three places with too much events.

I was so glad when Catylene stark back alive, but felt disappointed when she have become literally lady stone-heart, when she started to avenge her family from guilty and innocents.

Nothing really happened. I was let down from the high expectations born from the previous three books. It was slow-paced and I could skip a few pages that weren't really necessary. I did enjoy it, however.

Superb characters and prose. I often got confused with what was happening to everyone at different times; GRRM must have an amazing memory to keep up with all of his characters and plotlines. Definitely want to read more.

Another great entry in this amazing world. Not as strong as any of the previous books, in my opinion, but still great.

This book had much lower stakes when compared to book 3, which is fine since the only thing that could've topped that one would be the Seven Kingdoms themselves just pretty much exploding.

I liked how this book is split with the next one, giving us more time with fewer characters. I think that was a really good choice and the series as a whole definitely benefits from it. The only problem was that some of the POVs in this book felt inconsequential. Certain characters had several chapters where they just... didn't do much.

Other than that I thought this book was fantastic. Particularly the ending. I won't say more because of spoilers, but man the last several chapters are phenomenal.
