This one was a little madcap and although there were many "surprises" throughout the story it felt like all of them were foreshadowed at some point in the story. Bess still remains my favourite and I desperately want more George in the story. Nancy overall is very hit or miss to me throughout the series. She has a lot of the original drive that she has in the novels (and the recent television show), but her friendships seem like after thoughts.

I really want to like the characterization in this series.

I'm in love with the art and the story and the queer relationships in this series, but I still have yet to have a name for George's Black Girlfriend. This is the 2nd issue she's been involved in, and I still DONT KNOW HER NAME!

That's a much bigger issue than most people actually believe. It seems diverse, but if you aren't even going to give them a name, aren't they just props at that point? Like the Fakest representation, I've seen in a long time, and honestly, it makes me not want to complete the series...

But I probably will because there are only 2 more issues.
