This book was good but it did not live up to the Uglies as much as i had hoped it to.

The end of this book does not make me want to read the third one. The main character seems to have (literally) unbelievable bad luck, and it has honestly just started to annoy me.

Also, I feel like the first two books, as I haven't read the third yet, could have been merged into one. This story (so far) didn't need to be a trilogy.

I'm sure I'll get my hands on the third book at some point, so we'll see. It doesn't seem promising... I feel like I can guess the outcome, even if I can't guess all the BS Tally will have to go through to get there.

It feels good to be back in this world! I usually read series back to back, but I feel like taking a break between the first book and this one was perfect! I had forgotten the things that tally forgot, so it felt like we were figuring them out together.

I really liked how this was structured and how the events played out. I LOVE Zane with all my heart and definitely (spoilers for the first book) prefer him over David!

The ending was so shocking and filled with so many questions that I want to jump into the next book ASAP!
