Two books in one that sorta have similar things in common, but are in different times. The first story is about Julia, a writer who served in the military during WWII and is out to find her deceased sister's son's grandparents in the Appalachian Mountains. While she is there, perhaps she'll find more than she bargained for. It was a really sweet story and did make a lot of sense, but seemed a bit unpredictable. The second story was a little more believable and kept you wondering what was going to happen. A woman who was abandoned on a doorstep of a Christmas Shoppe and raised by a kind man who became her father, has an author wondering about interviewing her for a book he is interested in writing. There were a few questions left in this story that I was left with, but sometimes there are things in life we don't always get answers for. Both of these were love stories and were set around Christmas, but not completely based during Christmastime.

The first story was good but the second one - Once Upon A Christmas Eve - is by far one of my favorite Christmas stories ever! Just delightful! I would love to see it made into a Hallmark movie :-)
