Truly unexpected ending yet it made perfect sense. Better than The Murder of Roger Ackroyd imo. The ending is just so emotional and powerful. I’m so satisfied with the ending after reading. Such a wild ride.

I guessed the ending of this one EARLY, which is unusual for me and old Agatha. All the same, just as enjoyable as any others of hers, but only four stars because it didn’t blow my mind. Poirot is such a lovable and endearing character to follow throughout the twists and turns of a mystery, and I can’t wait to read more of his series. If you’re into audiobooks, I HIGHLY recommend David Suchet’s narration of this.

Deeeelightful. Not sure it gets more classically mysterious and wonderful than this.
