I would love to give this five stars as I adored the first Red Hood story, but, unfortunately, couldn't care less about the Grifter one. He's not a character I'm really familiar with, and this story didn't make me particularly care about him either.

ah fuck... this was the comic that got me into the shithole that was DC and very few DC series can be compared to this tbh...

It's just so great. Even without really knowing what relationship Jason had with Batman, it was so emotionally striking to me as it sets out to explore Jason's feelings towards Batman and his past actions.

As I knew more abt Batman and his family, I realised that comic writers didn't explore his relationship with Batman a lot; reducing Bruce to this man that hates killing and absolutely stands by that. that's absolute bullshit as you can see on the later issues of this volume.

Anyways, incredibly great if you would like to read good characterisation of Jason Todd and Bruce Wayne, and also if you want to cry real bad bc this volume would make you BAWL.👍👍
