Forbidden love trope ❤️
I really enjoyed this trilogy because it had the paranormal romance and the story line I was craving. The only thing that really annoyed me was the constant stream of historical references. Sometimes felt like it was dragging on. I found myself skipping parts. That aside it was still something I could not put down. I loved the authors take on all paranormal creatures. This trilogy had just about everything I like vampires, witches and demons. Just missing a good were wolf. Sometimes I wish there was a bit more in-depth of their romantic connection though in certain parts. I feel the historical references sometimes took over that and their love could be more explored. I loved the way the author depicts each character. Even the ones that aren’t main ones. Each became a favourite in their own way. I loved the different perspectives of each character too, even though most of the story is through Diana’s, the other character perspectives just gave the story an extra layer.
With out giving it way though I loved how they tided all the 3 species together in the end. If you love vampires and witches this is a great series for you.

I loved this series! It reminded me of the same feeling I had when I was little and read Harry Potter for the first time. It combined some of my favorite genres together, like historical fiction and fantasy. I look forward to future books by this author.
