I found the visual treatment distracting and overwhelming. Some good stuff, but gimmicky. It would be a fun companion to a more straightforward treatment, but I don't think it's a very useful introduction to the subject.

I didn't finish this book. I quit about halfway through after realizing the information didn't really enter my brain. I understand this is more of a coffee table book that you page through for fun every once in a while, rather than reading from cover to cover. Even still, I think the delivery is rather dry, compared to even a good textbook. Textbooks have the advantage of being longer to fit more anecdotes and examples in to make the information stick. This book feels more like reading Wikipedia entries, short and to the point, but by no means meant for engagement or learning. So I don't recommend this book, there are probably way more engaging economics books available, and if you just want to learn, get yourself a textbook, OpenStax has some free online textbooks available if that's what you're looking for :)
Just reading sections for an Econ class. Super interesting though.
