This wasn’t my favorite but it did get a smile out of the little one.

This creature eats his way through the ABCs. Sometimes it's tasty things and sometimes it's things a critter shouldn't eat. He ends the day with a tummy ache and comforted by it's caregiver, then sent to bed for sleep. It's a quick, fun ABC book to share.

Kids may miss the fact that it's an alphabet book, because some of the letters are filled by onomatopoeia. Still, they'll get a giggle when the creature starts to eat non-food items.

Four stars because even though I wasn’t particularly impressed with it, my first graders LOVED IT.

I adore the pictures, but like most ABC books, it's not a great storytime pick. However, even the not so great for storytime end up being shared at Virtual Storytime, since Mo Willems is such a rock star about letting us share his books!

What's not to love about Mo Willems!?
This was hilarious! I love it because there's hardly any words, the pictures are super funny, and it tells a story using only the alphabet! How awesome is that!?
