I like the homage to when Katara and Sokka first met Aang, but I don't know if I'm loving the direction this one's headed.

Really like this story! Good to see Katara and Sokka’s dad again. It’s wild they wouldn’t have come back to see their home sooner than this. And of course their dad is into the younger northern tribe modern girl. The machines vs bending argument is interesting and sets things up nicely for what happens in legend of korra.

Love to see daddy Hakoda again and the plot twist at the very end was fun but at this point it feels like the exact same story we saw in The rift so it was kinda meh I want other adventures that are not ~capitalism~
