I was so excited to read this book! I enjoy seeing stories interpreted and changed. In this case I found the tittle and plot different then what I thought it was going to be. The plot, while having Tink as the main character, had a hard time trying to fit in the other characters especially Wendy. For the romance in the book, I didn’t notice any connection or interest between what was supposed to be the main plot. With the addition of Hope, I felt as if she wasn’t entirely needed. I wish the story had been the before chapters, but some present chapters were alright. The last thing is that I felt like the pacing was INCREDIBLY slow. I can’t count the amount of times I fought myself to not DNF this book.

Was the ending worth the meandering journey? I think not.

I'm always excited about Peter Pan retellings and inevitably I am underwhelmed by them.

I think what I loved most about this retelling of Peter pan was the love story between Tink and Wendy - not expected and a different take on this well known tale.
